Free Estimates & Consulting Services
Free Estimates:
Big Trees provides free estimates! Just email or fax over the list of tree types, sizes and quantities and we will create and deliver a free estimate via fax or by email. We can also help with quantity and placement if we are provided with a simple site plan which includes dimensions, site orientation and property lines. Site pictures are always helpful.
We do not provide free estimates for insurance and/or wrongful cuts. For this we have the Big Trees Expert Witness Program which describes our services and associated fees. Please also accept our referrals to the consulting arborists who are listed under Links on our website. Most are experts in regards to wrongful cuts and insurance claims.
Consulting Services:
Big Trees also has professionals who provide valuable assistance with the what, where, why and how of tree planting. This is more involved consulting work which is billable, and typically requires a site visit. Use the knowledge and experience of our staff to direct you to the best long term plan for your landscape. It can save you hundreds, even thousands of dollars down the road.

- Basic soil and drainage evaluation
- Site logistic planning for new tree installations or transplants
Our consulting services provide you with the answers you need to make informed decisions about your landscape. We can provide deliverables such as: site plans, tree/plant lists with information and pictures, written evaluations, and estimates based on the necessary and valuable information obtained from educated Big Trees staff members. Consultations and the billable work can take place on-site, at our office or at remote tree fields and can include photographing, tagging or project management time with our crews during installation.
