A homeowner contacted us about one of her trees overgrowing its space in her landscape. She didn’t want to cut the tree down, but preferred that it be removed and possibly reused by another homeowner. She contacted us through our ‘Tree Rescue’ program. After we evaluated the tree, confirmed the tree’s size, access for equipment and determined that there were no underground utility conflicts we moved forward with digging the tree. Summer digging is made possible by our anti-transpirant treatments which help trees through summer moves. Our crews hand dug a large rootball, covered the rootball in burlap and then drum-laced it all together.
Not a leaf dropped or wilted . . . We now have a healthy 20 foot tall Purple Beech ready to go to a new home.
